To Be Young Again

MELANIE (age 5) asked her Granny how old she was. Granny replied she wasso old she didn't remember any more. Melanie said, 'If you don'tremember you must look in the back of your panties. Mine say five tosix.'

BRITTANY (age 4) had an earache and wanted a pain killer. She tried invain to take the lid off the bottle. Seeing her frustration, her Momexplained it was a child-proof cap and she'd have to open it for her.Eyes wide with wonder, the little girl asked: 'How does it know it's me?'

JAMES (age 4) was listening to a Bible story. His dad read: 'The mannamed Lot was warned to take his wife and flee out of the city but hiswife looked back and was turned to salt.' Concerned, James asked: 'What happened to the flea?'

Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and arapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust...'He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter whowas listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'

LOL! Okay, these are real things my son has said to me recently.

While watching a show about illigal immigration my son looks at me and says, "Mom, did you know there are aliens in Arizona?"

While watching a black and white TV show..."Mom, did the whole world use to be in black and white?"

LadyRidesalot...well what can I say? I thought I'd try posting something different..can't wait for riding season to start again.
B.B. Great...your son's comments are publishable lines. Only from the mouth of babes. It just dawned on me that we were born in a different era. Our Children opened their eyes to color TV's and computers. I was lucky to have a home made wooden toy to play with.
