When I watched this clip, I felt I had to share it for many reasons, some of which are:
1- The courage this boy showed.
2- He knew people looked at him differently thinking he's a freak
3- His determination, passion and hard work.
and last but not least...the American Spirit Generosity shown by the crowd in their support of him.

I'm not autistic and by general description not "handicapped" at all. That's of course not including my recent m/c injury.
I'm also probably the worst basketball player anyone could ever see. I couldn't hit a 3 pointer on my best day, in fact I'm lucky to get it in the damn basket shooting from anywhere, without being defended.
Makes you wonder what "handicapped" really means. I wish they'd have said if they let the kid play regularly from then on. I'd have to bet they did.
