Classic exhaust sounds, a replacement muffler and an MG Christmas lunch

Some vehicles have such a distinctive exhaust note that you know what they

Sorry to hear about your accident! Hope things are doing much better for you. I was wondering what happened. Get better.
Thank you KT...I was knocked down from the back by a DUI cager on my way to 7- to grab some pops for the boys at home. Before I knew it I found myself on the pavement, broken jaw...no lower palate teeth, forehead bleeding like a pig and a left side and arm that hurt like hell..to top it all off the Hospital did not detect the conccusion on the first go round..so I also ended up being totally depressed (In addition to the physical pain and healing I had to undergo)
Almost 7 months to get really back on my feet...I am fine now and looking for a new Bike... Thank for asking and keep well
"Life is so hard, how can we be anything but kind? Our sorrows and wounds are healed only when we touch them with compassion." May all being live in harmony and may you live a happy, healthy, and peaceful life from this New Years onward!
RMV's colleague..thank you for your kind and comforting words...I wishh you all the best as well
A very wise wife!

It is good to see you back finally and I wish all the best if there is still recovery needed. My surgery was, compared to your ordeal, a much "nicer" thing. But I still suffer a bit the sequel. The doctor says it will last around 6 month before all is fine.
Cute joke.
Glad your back and doing well.
I wondered why your postings seemed somewhat sporadic. One thing I always keep as the rule of thumb while riding is, “Expect the unexpected.”

"I hope you have a speedy and complete recovery."

After all where else am I going to find the cartoons I need for my postings.

PS – Belated comment on your 7/11/2009 posting, I ‘totally’ agree. “It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad world” is one of the best movies ever. It had over 76 appearances and cameos of well know actors.
I'm so sorry to hear about your accident, I had no idea. I hope your body is healing fast and well!
As for this post....lol!
Glad you are back. Wishing you all the very best by heart.
Baron ~ Sorry to read about your accident. Glad that you are doing OK. Thanks for stopping by today, I've missed your visits.
The first day I ever wore a full-faced helmet was the day I went through the side window of an Austen Allegro.I'd only put it on because it was raining...
Thanks for posting at my bit.
Ride safe.
So sorry to hear bout your accident, I hope you will be soon completely recovered.
Likewise happy 2010 to you and yours.
Liked the joke as well.;)

Cheers Peter
Thanks Dr. John...I hope all's well with you and your family
Scribe816...I am recovered now..it took about 6 or 7 month as I did fall into a deep mental depression...first accident in 30 years of riding and some of it on rough terrain in the Far East where I was stationed for a while...
I have seen it's a mad mad mad mad world at least 50 times and every time I find something new in it...Full of talented actors, the likes of whom we will probably never see again
B.B. Thanks all's well now...it was pretty hellish but I'm good now...I might even publish some of the damage for you guy to see. I didn't talk about it before because most everyone was full swing into their riding season and the last thing you want is to scare anyone. MQ01 knew about it and has been very supportive to me via emails but I did ask her to keep it quiet because like I said I din't want to spoil anyone' riding season.
Phivos...Thank you very much my good frined...Epkharisto para poli
Thanks Bill...I am back now...and doing well (Finally) thanks man...I hope you are doing OK too
Conan the librarian...it just goes to show what could happen...nothing is written in tone except taxes and death...this was my first accident in 30 years of riding ...all's good now
Protege...thanks...all's well now but it took a long long time to recover
Webster World... I am good now.. I will let you all know what the new ride will be...I still have a small scooter I fut around on...but it's not the same.
Dear Baron:
I just heard you had an accident. What happened? It appears you are in good spirits. I hope the crash didn't have any permanent nor long term affects.

Notor-head Lady. Thank you very much. I appreciate your kindness and good wishes...I am back now and looking forward to good times.
You had also dissappeared for a while back there. I hope all's well with you and yours.
A very belated Get Well message from over the water, Baron. We were all wondering where you had gone.
Here's for a great 2010 and to get your knees back in the breeze.
