I would prefer the ride on the school bus from Japan.

Thank you for the laugh! There is more room for the backpacks then for the students! Very cool - it is yellow like the American school buses. It is a very green technology - may be Obama will implement it here in US :) He is just running the trials in Pakistan!

Did you come to Honolulu and get a picture of the bus I drive...I peddle and peddle and peddle and seem to get no where. LOL

Judgin' by the looks of that bottom one, I can see ya've been snoopin' 'n snappin' here in The Bowels of Hell ;-)

It closely resembles the hybrid thing my kids call "The Crackhead Bus"...which is a huge-monstrosity-of-a-thing but which don't hold much more than 12 people tops.

Its useless 'n senseless 'n its just a plain ol' waste of money if ya ask ME. But that's the good ol' Bowels for ya.

If I had a choice I choose Pakistan as it is less polluting.

Interesting Thought Provoking Post, I think I'd prefer the bus in Pakistan, great way for the driver to get some exercise. Probably get along faster than with the traffic than a motorised bus.

I would not care to take any of the two busses. I hated school.

Strange as it may seem but I would go for the bus from Pakistan because the pupils will be more in tune with their surroundings. Nowdays travellers/passengers in many types of transport are more interested in their i-pod, mobile phone, portable DVD, gameboy etc that they miss the ever changing scenery happening before their very eyes. Sad really.

No, I would go with the bus from Japan. That way I can make lots of money and be arrogant and rich.... who would need to be in touch with the surroundings when the rich and arrogant destroy the world it would have been a waste of time to be in touch with the surroundings since there will be none to speak of... ok, I ranted. Got issues at the moment... perhaps I should have gone to the G20 to protest ::)))??

That is hilarious. I had to look at the post a couple of times until I clued into the pedal bike in Pakistan. I was too in shock with the buses in Japan. And then when I scrolled again, I laughed and laughed. Great funny post as usual.

I think I would prefer to ride in the bus from Japan. But then, since I need my exercise, the Pakistani bus would be better for me to drive.

Personally, I just wish the kids would actually RIDE the bus...instead of acting like driving their own car to school is a god-given right (when it is truly a privilege)!!!

That is so crazy. I have never seen anything like the top one! I must say, in a way I am sure the second lot are having much more fun and I feel that in their future they will be able to deal with whatever life throws at them. I wonder what the top childrens social lives are like and when they get down time, if they cant even have it on the bus. Poor little things.

At least the kids on the Pakistan bus don't carry guns and knifes with them to school!

Its not a bus in pakistan... read the address properly....its says New Delhi at the end.. its India !!
and no school in pakistan will be called bal "mandir"...
mandir means temple and there are no temples in pakistan...they have mosques...

That's not a bus from Japan. The words, "People's Republic of China", are actually painted on the side.
