For enthusiasts of vintage motorbikes, Royal Enfield is back!
The return of the vintage motorcycle lineup to Canada has snagged much attention at Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver bike shows, and keeps show attendees returning to the Royal Enfield booth to get a second and third glance at a new way of riding in Canada.
Bullet Electra EFI - The original
The Bullet Electra is the vintage motorcycle. Simplistic in design, robust and reliable, the Electra looks and sounds like a British single, but with a significant performance boost, excellent fuel economy and reduced exhaust emissions, all a result of the new unit construction engine and electronic fuel injection.
The Electra's greatest quality is versatility. No other Royal Enfield model has the ability to be customized like the Electra, allowing every rider to discover their own individuality by accessorizing. Whether it is the old Bobber, Cafe Racer, or side car you are looking for, the Electra is the perfect model for making your bike an original.

I think I've found you another follower Baron. I'll send this link to him.
Subrosa...How are you my fair Lady of Scotland...hope all's well. Thanks for the visit...I know I haven't been around for some time but it was due to unusaul circumstances.
Aloha my friend. I'm glad that you are doing well and recovered. Now you hear me and hear me out. Drive those damn bikes carefully would you? LOL I like the first one the best myself. It looks the most rugged :) Have a great Sunday :)
Thanks Thom,
All's good now...! I like the first one the best as well, however that model is still not available in Canada. The other four are... They have a Factory of all places in India and they have some nicer looking vintage bikes coming out of there.
Great looking bikes. It is good to see the Enfield name flourishing. There is an Enfield dealer near me that has a combination of old and new bikes..... I am tempted....
And all for around....?
They all look so beautiful!
Can't wait to see them on the roads!
Gary,
Yes it is good to see them coming around again. My Dad owned a BSA on which I learned to ride and two of his friend had an Ariel and an Enfield each.
It is my understanding the brand flourished quite nuicely in India where they are offering nicer looking models, yet still keep the Enfield charm...somehow much like the matchless
Webster,
They are offering the following right now, as I understand it...
1- Bullet Electra EFI
2- Bullet Electra Deluxe EFI
3- Bullet Classic EFI
Bullet Classic Military EFI
Coming soon:
1- Cafe racer
2- Vintage
Mind the pricing on these untis (Currently available 1-4 above) ranges from Canadian $ 7K to 8K
so a bit on the pricey cause you can get a nice Honda for that kind of money...so you need to be a real enthuasiast to consider these bikes...for me, they remind me of the Fonze era, and I do love vintage bikes for what they are. I had a collection of old bikes which I sold to a guy in WI about 1 1/2 years ago
Phivos,
yes beatiful they are and they come from a beautiful period of time...I am a history buff so these bikes fit in very well with what I envidsage to be colonial Africa or India and the British troops and army and expatriates living there and so on
Torch,
Royal enfield will be setting up in USA as well...I think there's a renaisance of old bikes coming around again, remains to be seen how well they do or don't do.
Mrs Nikos wants one of these bikes as they carry her name! We were only discussing the matter last Sunday - I want her to have a Yamaha MT03, but no she wants an Elektra with a separate saddle.....
What shall we do dear Birge?
Good to see it back in Canada again.
Yassou Nikos...
Get one of each...lol
I do like the Yamaha MT03 it's a great bike but the Enfield would certainly make a statement... Cheers mate and keep well
Rajesh,
Yes, I am happy about it too... This is just great.
What a Great Looking Bike,
