Sui Sha Japanese Restaurant

Sunday, we decided to drive into Richmond for some Japanese Sushi at the Sui Sha Restaurant...Excellent service and fresh food.

Crossing the Alex Fraser Bridge...which was unusually not busy...Alex Frase Bridge

Our Friend decided to ride there anyway

Our friendly driver

The destination

The menu...all you can eat for $ 22.95 but the rule is you have to finish what's on your plate...any items you leave will be added to the bill at $0.50 per piece...they figure they avoid wastage this way...who knows if it really works...

After dinner we decided to go to the hangars and catch pictures of airplanes landing

First plane coming in....

A shot of the approach/landing

MacDonalds on SW Marine Drive on the way home

Baron, sounds like a great day. I like the idea of all you can eat sushi. Is the sushi served on a conveyor belt?

They would never be able to collect the penalty from us. When we are full, I package up all the un-eaten food, wrap it up in some serviettes and dispose of it somewhere like in the washroom. Or just bring extra zip lock bags.

I like that moon shot, sort of like a UFO

I like there pricing myself. we had a place like that in honolulu and they had a two hour time limit on the table LOL. But there was no charge for what you didn't eat. Great photos. I so love watching planes and seeing them in photos. Excellent my friend :)

The photo of the plane and street light is interesting. Creates quite a unique perspective.

Lance...no conveyor belt here, but the servers were pretty fast...they give you this chit (Form) you order what you want on it from 120 items), hand it to the server and he gives you another chit for the next round and so on till your done...human conveyor belt

These are extremely cool photos, Baron! Love each one of them. The plane is super - so vivid / I like those machines, but was never able to photograph them - that is hard - you did fantastic/. The Moon vision is very mystic! That is very expensive buffet - $7-8 - all you can eat with unlimited refills and nobody watching your plate - that is my idea of buffet. Hope it was worth it!

I would say you all had a good time. I’ve never heard that one is charged for what he/she doesn’t eat.:-) That really is interesting. I like your series of photos especially the bridge photo and the one with a plane approaching. And the next shot with a plane and a street lamp on it looks so interesting.

A lovely way to show a sunday's trip. And a good idea to charge you for what you have not eaten.
