There are an awful lot of truisms in that list.
Thanks for posting.
I have to state the obvious; I know very little about bikes. Still, in my past, I have known men that were bike riders and I have been riding with (behind:) them on numerous occasions.
All the men were great people, with love for nature and the open road and with a sense for adventure. Therefore I can fully understand someones affection for these grand machines and the places they can take you. And the means in which they can do it.
Lovely post and I love the list.;))
Great list. I would like to add "Chrome don't get you home." Can you tell I am a bit of a Rat Bike rider? Oh, and I did ride to work in the rain this morning.
Great list!
Cheers everyone...!
Ride on
Ride safe
“Winter is Nature's way of telling you to polish your bike.” I agree with this. Winter is the time when motorcycles are at rest. But one must understand that doesn’t mean just leaving your bike in the garage and forgetting about it until spring comes again. It means taking the time to give your bike some TLC. Polish your bike and make sure that you check and clean all the parts. Then, cover it to protect it from rust and corrosion.
If you really love your motorcycle, then you wouldn’t deprive it of regular maintenance. A motorcycle can bring you to your destination, regardless of weather, season, time or how far it may be , and all it demands from us is a little favor called – maintenance. Do you motorcycle a favor and take care of it the best way that you can do.
“If you ride like there's no tomorrow - there won't be.” – Very true! You can ride your Harley all day long, but you must keep in mind your safety! Be very responsible and know your limitations. You can still enjoy your ride even without putting at risk both your Harley and your life as well.
