And a suburban home in Northrern California for $12,000. Nowadays you can get a Bonneville that doesn't leak, vibrate or fail to start for $10,000 or a suburabn Northern california home for $400,000.
A rather expensive BSA, lovely though it was.

I'm sure back then 2,500 bucks was a fortune. Not bad looking for it's time :)

BSA, from being the worlds largest and most respected motorbike manufacturer in 1965 to begging for government handouts, company break up, and closure of all main manufacturing, in 1972. The result of poor management by low quality idiots who where more concerned with their own incomes than the continuation of production of these wonderful machines. Remind any one of any car manufacturers in more recent times.

Still it's a beautiful bike Baron.

Baron, I love the style of this bike. I hope you recover quickly from your surgery - take it from me, milkshakes!

OUCH!

Hope all goes well with the surgery.

And if the milkshakes don't work, I know a good ice cream place. LOL
