Great photos...planning on visiting soon?
After seeing your post, and reading John's, I would love to visit Turkey!
Is this a hint that you may be going to Istanbul? :)
Κωνσταντινούπολις
Hmmm...your second post on Istanbul, is your company sending you here, you will find it just a little warmer than Canada lol..
Cheers
Dave..
Before becoming a world most beautiful mosque - St Sofia was Eastern Orthodox church - the Turks just added the minarets :)
The title of your post says it all. Istanbul is "mon amour" too. I barely had arrived in this town, when its ambiance hit me fully. I spent one of the most extraordinary weeks of my life in Istanbul.
Ellievellie...you, NIKOS and I being of the same background and culture...we know the TURKS well...I am not too worried about what was, should have been or will be...Istanbul is still "mon amour" and will always be
Thom...possibly
Lance...me 2
Hi Jen...guess...!
Nikos.... generous at heart is what counts....beat them with generosity not hatred
Dave negotiating at the moment I'd love it to happen
Peter...you sure is special man...! are you Canadian by any chance? lol

Great pics. Certainly is exotic and the food is excellent!:)
but.... it's a mans world.
America is for women :)
After seeing Istanbul in one of the Bond Films (I think From Russia With Love), I've always been interested in visiting someday,.
Wonderful post my friend.
Forgive my not visiting lately,
Bill...maybe we can all go over and visit our friends over there ...lol and enjoy their food and women... Thom could drive us around in one of them, made in Montreal, big Turkish buses
Great photos.
Hey baron!!
My fathers from turkey. He said alot has changed and he doesnt like it anymore. So he moved to Florida haha.
John, Thanks, they were from the net.
Prince Baro,
My paternal grand parents were from SIVAS, my maternal Grand pa was from Izmir... a life time away.... Florida is much better...it's a small world that's getting much smaller...Life is beautiful...enjoy it . Cheers
wow. very interesting. Maybe they met somehwere along the lines haha :)
cheers
PrinceBaro...highly unlikely but maybe possible. cheers mate. It is a small world for sure
Though you suggest it, and as you know, I am not a Canadian. But perhaps that fact that I sent my son 10 years ago to Montreal to make his professional pilot licence contributes to my "Canadian behaviour".
Peter...I Knew bloody well you were not Canadian just pulling your leg bud ....how did I know you had a Canadian connection?...so did he go to aviaition (Flying) school in St-Hubert?
That's where I lived....small world...
