Ride safe for they will not see you...

When I was in Grade eleven at St-Laurent High, a High School in the suburbs of Montreal, There was a young Kid named Dan in my class who hailed from Israel...Dan was bright, articulate and very popular with the ladies...somehow or other, one day Dan showed up on a brand new BSA motorcycle his Dad had just purchased for his Birthday...which was fine and dandy...until, at one recess time...when all the cool kids...including yours truly..went out to puff on a fag..I saw how Dan was riding that bike...I was horrified at his maneouvers because I'd been riding since I was 14...anyway to make a long story short...we graduated from High School went on to Colleges and Universities as the cases might have been...and one day, about 10 yeras later, I met Dan at the corner of a street in our hometown, where my family and his used to live...and Dan was on crutches, legless and walking...He apparently was cut down by a truck that did not see him....!!!!
The reason I am posting this now, after all these years is that I have seen a post by my good friend Danny, PLEASE READ IT AND PASS IT ON...safety cannot be OVERSTRESSED...You hear me now...
Ride safe you all...!!
Once on his blog...you'll have to scroll down and look for " You Didn't SEE ME"

Wise words that we should all heed.
I always work on the assumption that I am invisible on the road with my bright LED daylights burning and hi-viz overvest!

I'm so glad that you posted that and I do hope you always follow safe rules. I'm sure you do...It so pisses me off when I see motorcyclists not paying attention and even more pisses me off when a car thinks just because they are bigger they own the road. Great post :)

this is a very clever ad ... one that speaks the truth. I hope more people try to be safe and not cool, while driving a motor bike
