Not thinking of its purpose and use, it is a beautiful thing. Impressive and it matches with the city.

Scunner...is it ever..I've seen it at port...and it's F...g bigger than the whole town I live in.... It doesn't even begin to compare to a city...it's like a foating country.
Peter...You are a peace loving, honest to God, SWISS...and that's why we unconditionally love you guys... You are pure and innocent...it must be all the cows you have in the fields...lol
But seriously, you SWISS are the best there is. Cheers

very impressive ship...the old and the new, everything in Malta is so old,Knights Templer,St John, crusaders etc. It must have taken a bit of manouvering to get a ship that size in valletta harbour.

Cheers

Well it has to be. Otherwise how are you to land the planes and park them?
They were designing a ship the size of a city. People buy an apartment and live in it while it sails around the ocean.
I am not sure if its made yet but that was the idea.Great for retired people.
Wherever the ship docks you get to touch ground.

Cool picture. What's really funny is the JFK is one of the oldest and smallest of the "super carriers" currently in service, and she's still pretty damned impressive.
