When I get back to Texas,(currently in Michigan on it now), I am trading her in on a new Harley Heritage Softail Classic to see if Harley has indeed improved on the mechanics and performance from my last Harley (chain drive FLH). If not, I will sell it and get me another Vulcan clone..a great bike for the money...JOHN A.K.A. You'll remember that a couple of months ago two Russian bombers came too close to our Northern Border, just too close for comfort. The F18's were promptly sent up and the Russian turned back...but in reality who is kidding whom here when we say we will defend our borders...? Anyway, you are a learned man and I believe, you having lived here, know where I'm coming from.
We do not have much of a choice when our submarines are British rejects put on the block for inadequate performance...and which we bought for a so called basement bargain price..I think we got screwed by the Limeys....as they screwed us back then,in the front lines in WWII, by knowingly sending our troops in harm's way...it is documented, but that's my personal opinion... Again, we had no choice there or did we?
All in all, we have to let bygones be bygones and look forward to the future and make sure our alliances flourish and that we look after each other.Baron's Lifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05363887015251189502noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-565552631340942230.post-59020402119257311912009-05-27T18:39:23.416-07:002009-05-27T18:39:23.416-07:00Canjun...great that you didn't have to use your ca...Canjun...great that you didn't have to use your calculator this time...come to think of it...I wouldn't know how to use one... Agree with your comment...it has to feel right..I'm looking for a ride that looks good and chunky but easy to handle...I will keep you posted for sure.
My Brother Jerry in Montreal who retired last year just got himself a honda Jazz to screw around on and go to the Depanneur sorta thing.
I' am leaning towards a Honda but haven't made up my mind yet. I do not like drive belts in principle.
